Hello Mister you stood me up !!!! But thanks for linking me anyway :P
:(( So sorry Rat !! Next time I shall drive over the Madras and shall not be at a loss for transport and time. Well, for sure transport :)
How sweeet! Yes, what would Chennai be without all those cool things and people?! ;)
hi. first time here. from chennai....bin eight whole months since i set foot there, tho!! seein this post made me go "oh, i miss the frikkin place", once more!!
Saravana Bhavan, The Hindu, Kaapi. Yeah, I know that much! Why no mention of the beaches? Just curious...
In Bangalore, Times of India outsells The Hindu. I think that tells things.
Funny how a bunch of the same things apply to Sunnyvale .... :) .. But yes Chennai is irreplaceable .. Hot samosa plate and all ...
Big, fat murukkus... now you've gone and made me homesick... sigh...
madras, nalla madras!!
ok... i just heard you say that once and picked it up from you. what does 'nalla' mean? good? i hope it means 'good', because i meant 'good'. :)
Fully agree with ya!
especially the bit about cool people ;)
Creamy Inn in Annanagar? That's the first I've heard of that! Of course it's been some months since I visited Madras and everytime I come back Annanagar is like a little city of its own. Go Annanager... (most of my friends lived in happening Nungambakkam and made much fun of me growing up in far away Annanagar)
hey.
was good to see you.
was not myself.
but...
was good to see you.
Kaapi and Murruku.
*takes a moment to appreciate their existence*
You don't like the word 'Chennai' do you? You never say it.
;))
waaaaaaaaaaah :(
i hate you...you have just made me immensely HOMESICK and sick of the present home :(
I want Madras...waaahhhhhhhhh :'(
erm... someone wants to help you get rid of your cellulite Jig....*giggle*.
Lavi: You could say that again !!
Maia: Welcome, welcome ! Btw, is that Maya ? I used to spell Nithya, Nythya !
Sajith: I lived in Anna Nagar, far away from the beach. Wasn't really that big a part of my life, though fun as it was.
Pauk: Im assuming you aren't talking about Mylapore and memories.
Senti: Join the club !!
Mandar: Yes. It means good only. Not to worry. See, you learn something new everyday on my blog !! :)
Archster: Heh ! You go !
Penny: Yay !! Another Anna Nagar aasamii !! Woohoo !! Yeah :P to those Nungambakkam and Santhome peoples !!
Grrl: No probs. And heh to the cellulite seller (get it?)
A: Nope... Madras is it !! :)
LadyK: Awww.. will send you murukku... give address !
what about kodambakkam and the movies???
Hi viggy( the pig).... How r u??? I am in the pink of my health... N y do u post a blog wit so many colors??? I am sufferin frm an eye prob after readin tat..... So plz avoid postin such colorful blogs.... N btw howz u r wife doin???
OK. Now do one for Chicago. : )
No self respecting person born before (insert suitable date here) will use the abomination "Chennai".
Of course, there are others who won't consider random offshoots like "Anna Nagar" even a part of Madras. It isn't even close to a beach for god's sake.
'Do one for Chicago' - now there's an excellent suggestion. Why do I have this feeling that a certain Irish pub on 100 W Grand Ave will feature prominently on that list..?
oh and I just read wahgnube's post about Annanagar. whoa, tread with caution amigo.. you are walking on thin ice here with atleast three A-Nagar residents carefully following the proceedings!
There is a reason why I don a pseudonym before inciting general violence.
Muahahahaha hah ah hah.
Madras....
*speechless*
maia it is, not maya.....latin for great, greek for goddess of spring!
agree wit u on d madras bit...'chennai' will never ever replace madras!!
About the hilarious auto drivers, one guy demanded more money because he took us by the short cut!
A-Town rocks
Oh by the way, A's for Annanagar not Adayar!
Wolverine
Oh too many Bloggers with Anna Nagar connctions! Sigh, such a small world! :)
