Ahhh...

Some unwind time... time to relax in a nice serene setting, take in the scent of the trees and the flowers. Have leisurely strolls with nothing but my own thoughts for company. For the most part it seems to be working. The restlessness seems to be ebbing away. I am finding these multiple trains of thought, rather enjoyable. I came up with a couple of neat ideas for the apartment, hit upon a new way of delivering a line I've been struggling with for a while, came up with two (count em, two !) somewhat decent pickup lines, atleast three ideas for blogposts and even managed to figure out something thats been bothering me a whole lot at work. You might even go as far as saying that this resting period is just what the doctor ordered. Nourishing to both body and mind, getting the juices flowing in just the right quantities.

And at the risk cementing in your minds that I have absolutely nothing to say, I shall finish with a quote, from a man who loves to spread sweetness and light as much as I love to receive it -

"The advice I give to every young man starting out to seek a life partner is to find a girl whom he can tickle." - Fredrick Altamont Cornwallis Twistleton, fifth Earl of Ickenham [Uncle Dynamite, P G Wodehouse]

Not fair. You talk about it being difficult to comment on my blog (although if you ask me, you do just fine with your 'I don't know what to say' comments) Have you imagined how hard it is to comment on a blog in which the author himself admits to having absolutely nothing to say? Tsk tsk.

And then there's Blogger woes. Don't even get me started. If this comment made its way to your blog, it is no thanks to Blogger and thanks to some shooting star or miracle worker somewhere. Phew ..

Glad you had a chance to unwind though .. What be them pickup lines? Enquiring minds want to know, of course.

Wow ! Talk about a comment, which ends up saying nothing, to a post, that was saying nothing in the first place ! Lady, you and I should get medals !!

Them pick up lines shall follow once I employ them successfully at least once... first victims shall be fine, nerdy ladies from Red Sox country, who have yummy site designs and actually add \< i \> to a comment to make sure the italics work... droooooollll.... ;)

Megha, your advanced use of italics are actually turning me on as well. How did you do that?

Vig, since I'm a married woman I'd rather hear about the ideas for the apartment. I have pictures of my newly decorated dining room if you wanna see em'.

umm...yea..so...hmmm, I dont have anything specific to say as usual, but damn it I'm going to let that be known!

btw, what's with the Bangalore,"KA". Thats so degrading to mention B'lore and the redneck state of Kansas in the same breath.aight, bedtime.la'er.

Since our previous comment said nothing worthwhile whatsoever, we shall try and continue the trend this time too. And apologies for hijacking this commentspace and writing to your other commentors as well.

The nerdy ladies from Red Sox country have been duly warned. In fact they're tickled pink about it. Use them pickup lines successfully eh? Nice to see such confidence! :)

Mint Chutney - its no big deal really. The obsessive compulsive in me just likes to fuss about things like that :) But for what its worth, just add a <i> and a </i> before and after the stuff you want to make pretty!

Raj - Kansas isn't KA, it is KS. Having lived in the land of Dorothy and tornadoes once upon a time, I felt the need to clarify that :)

MC : Pictures of the bedroom will be most appreciated... am wondering about that area of the household myself... in more ways than just decoration...har har har !!

LadyK: As usual, you have picked up on the subtle nuances of my character that others seem to miss/ignore !

Grrl: Really ? I had a friend that I used to do that to once... we both kinda... well... anyways.. hows the weather down there in Chennai !??!

Lalit : How nice of you to drop by... you havent had anything specific to say for years mate ! Whats new ! Nice to see you getting handled by my horde of fans ! KA, indeed !!! This coming from the guy who made me spend hours looking for some God forsaken stretch of land in IL... what was that... Moline ?

M: Duly warned ?!?!? You just wait till I turn up in Boston one of these days ! With a browser in one hand and great pick up line in the other !! And lady, you making the situation worse... look at the way I tried the escape characters to get \< work and it didn't and how you just threw that in there... so non-chalantly, such a geek turn on ! Way to go lady !!! Work them tags ! And thats for that KS remark... :P @ Lalit ;) hhehehehe !!!!!

Vig- DINING room. I said I had pictures of my new DINING room.

Moline, IL?? I've lived here all my life and even I don't want to go to Moline.

I think I went a little italics crazy. Thanks Megha!

alright, I stand corrected (and a little embarassed). However, I will maintain Kansas may be KS but Karnataka is certainly not KA!(except on license plates)..and yes Vig, I did drag you to the quad cities area but only coz Nick asked me to visit his hometown. It's not my fault the only major pastime there seemed to be shopping at Walmart!

Vig - Oh yeah? Bring on the browser and the pickup lines then! The geeky ladies of Bawst'n (yes that's the accent we use around these parts) look forward to using some wicked cool HTML tricks to bowl over them KA folks. *sigh* The things that impress men these days .. sheesh!

MC - Happy to spread the joy :)

Raj - Didn't mean to embarrass. I do agree that Karnataka should not be referred to as KA. That's so .. um .. nah, I should be nice to Vig. Its his blog and all :)

Yea, aren't we easily impressed ? Isn't that a good thing ? Makes your job a whole lot easier I guess ;)

Say it, that is sooo ?!??! And I didn't do it, it was Bloggers fault !

Ah, you've been hea in your caah? Wikkid cool! We Bostonians are rather nice, that way. We believe in the power of the unsaid ;) Blogger's fault indeed. Tsk tsk.

The burning question is — WHY do they make it so easy? Not that we're complaining :)

I should stop writing comments on this now-ancient post and go back to shutting up, I guess?
